History[]
It originally opened as an AJ's branch in the early '90s. It was converted to Little Chef in around 1997/1998 in addition to its sister restaurant Newark - as a result of becoming a dual-sided site. It lasted for a few years until it closed for good in 2004/05. It later became an independent restaurant and lounge bar called Mint Leaf, which closed for good in 2022 and immediately became abandoned.
