The Morcott branch was a former Little Chef restaurant located on the A47 near Morcott, Rutland.

Opened between 1972 and 1976, the Little Chef at Morcott had all the ingredients of a successful site. For starters, it was positioned on the A47, a major road running from Leicestershire to Norfolk which is often prone to a lot of long distance traffic, therefore the Little Chef here would be sure to attract a lot of passing traffic and trade. Another benefit was that the stretch of the A47 that the Morcott Little Chef stood on was a single carriageway, meaning that the site could be easily accessed by all traffic travelling on the road. The Little Chef was also built alongside a filling station and later a Travelodge which presented a great opportunity for Little Chef to attract additional custom from these facilities. The site really had it all.

The site continued to trade well until 2012 when then owners R Capital decided to close 67 sites that it deemed to be underperforming with Morcott identified as one of these. By late September it had closed its doors, leaving Travelodge and filling station to soldier on alone.

In 2014, the Travelodge on site closed and has since been replaced with a Redwings Lodge branch. In 2015, plans were announced to re-open the former Little Chef as an independent known as the Country Lounge Coffee Bar.
