The Little Chef at Manordeilo first opened in 1989, at a small site on the A40 between Llandovery and Llandeilo. The restaurant was built opposite an existing filling station.
In 2005, the Little Chef at Manordeilo ceased trading, following the cull of 131 Little Chef restaurants by then owners, Permira, nationwide.
Following the closure of the Little Chef, the building then played host to a few independent restaurants, including Dylan's, Daly's Restaurant and Carvery, and Miss Mollie's Diner. Today, the building operates as a vet.
