|Location||Ivetsey Bank, Stafford|
The Ivetsey Bank branch was a former Little Chef restaurant located on the A5 in Ivetsey Bank near Stafford, Staffordshire.
The Little Chef at Ivetsey Bank first opened between 1968 and 1972 and was housed inside of a small, square building made of red brick. The Little Chef was accompanied by a filling station.
The Little Chef at Ivetsey Bank lasted for about 30 years until it closed in 2001/2. Around this time, then owners Compass were in the process of selling Little Chef to Permira of Canada and this was one of the casualties that closed in the process. The Little Chef was replaced by Cafe India, an Indian restaurant and the petrol station was demolished.
The former Little Chef was described as "Having the ambience of roadside diner miles from the nearest town" by Andy Richardson when he wrote a review on Cafe India.
