The Foveran branch was a former Little Chef on the A90 just south of Foveran village, Aberdeenshire.

Opened in 1986/7, this was a new build site in Forte's house style of the era built in red brick with a low pitched roof. It was located beside a filling station, for good complimentary business and located on the main route between Aberdeen and the fishing towns of Fraserburgh and Peterhead. It was also beside the junction of the A975, an alternative coast road to Peterhead, so it caught the traffic using this route too.

At the time of opening, both Peterhead and Fraserburgh were both thriving fishing towns, meaning that there was a lot of people commuting up and down the corridor. Plus, both had some tourist attractions, making it a recreational route too. Therefore the Little Chef here made sense.

However, during the 90s, both Fraserburgh and Peterhead fell on hard times, which continued into the 2000s meaning that their populations decreased and less people were journeying up and down the corridor and past the Little Chef. Only local commuting traffic stayed buoyant along the corridor and such travellers were the least likely to use the Little Chef. As a result, when then owners of the brand, Compass, were reviewing the Little Chef sites prior to selling the brand, Foveran was one of the casualties, closing by 2002.The building was abandoned for around four years after Little Chef closed down but in 2006 Bon Accord Granite bought the building, extended the existing building and added new doors and windows. In 2015 Bon Accord Granite moved out and it was replaced by Aberdeen Veterinary Referrals.
