The Cowbridge branch opened in the early 70s for travellers around the A48 entering the town of Cowbridge, and was built in a flat roof prefabricated building alongside a Gulf filling station. It sadly ceased trading as a Little Chef in the early 90s and has since been demolished (although retaining the steps leading up to the restaurant from the car park) to make way for an Indian restaurant, known as Mughal Emperor, which still trades on to this day. The Gulf filling station had also ceased trading.
