In the early 90s, Forte saw that the Astley Little Chef was one of the more busier sites and decided to add a Little Chef Coffee Stop alongside the restaurant. The Coffee Stop was later replaced by a Burger King in the Granada era but this later closed. |

The Astley branch was a former Little Chef restaurant located on the A580 between Manchester and Liverpool near Astley, Greater Manchester.
The Little Chef at Astley was one of the A580's earliest sites. The restaurant first opened between 1958 & 1965 alongside a filling station. The Little Chef was housed inside of a small, prefabricated, rectangular building with a flat roof; a typical Little Chef house design of the era.

The Little Chef at Astley sadly closed in 2010 and has since been operating as an independent known as Zest which is an Indian restaurant.
The front of Astley Little Chef featured in an Episode of the Peter Kay show "Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere."
